“Elite” Enemies are monsters that are powerhouses in and of themselves. Instead of merely dealing straight damage, or acting synergistically with other monsters, they have a number of abilities and effects that can dominate a battlefield by themselves. They may also have obscene amounts of AD, or Defense, or both. Weaker Advanced monsters can serve as “lieutenants” for small groups of Enemies, and stronger types can be their own individual “Boss” events.
Important: When Encounter difficulties are being calculated, Elite Enemies’ Action Dice count twice the normal. (So, for example, a Stalker would be treated as if it had 6 AD, instead of its actual 3.)
